The Baby Twins

This story is the last in a three-book series titled, "Babies & Bachelors".  Featuring three single moms who meet in Lamaze class, Gabby, Olivia and Stephanie prove that everyone deserves a second chance at love!

EEEK!!!!  For the twins' Sweet Sixteen, Safari Joe brought his wildlife to our house!  Snakes have been a lifelong fear of mine, so this was HUGE for me!!  The funny thing was, Banana didn't seem all that scary.  Her skin was soft and smooth.  Plus, I'm thinking the fact that she's pretty and yellow helped take away the scary factor!!  Oh--and I wanted to be brave in front of hunky Joe.  Is he a real live cover hunk, or what???!!!  Whew!!  LOL!!

Here's the whole family with Bananas, with the exception of Son #2.  He was off flirting, and couldn't be bothered with family pics!!!

Breaking news!!

Our daughter auditioned for the Tulsa Oilers Ice Girls and made the team!!  Of course, we just bought season tickets!!  Go Oilers!!

Life at the Altom house is pretty laid back.  Ever since Hubby's grandmother came to live with us, hobbies have pretty much vasnished.  Between writing, caring for her and the kids, what free time I have is reserved for my guilty pleasures of reality TV and The Sims!  This picture was taken on Christmas, and features lots of bonus dogs!  From left to right, Son #1 & Noodle, my mom & Lilly, Me & Cocoa, Daughter & Sweet Pea, Son #2 & Foxy, and Hubby.  My poor dad took the picture, and never seems to be in any holiday photos!

As for the rest of our crew, Hubby and I have been blessed with gorgeous fourteen-year-old boy/girl twins, and have recently become the proud parents of a fifteen-year-old son.  With three teens in the house, we're always running.  Daughter's on her high school's varsity cheer squad and one son plays tennis, while the other is on track.  Luckily, cheer's over for the year, but the nail-biting tryouts are just around the corner!  This pic was taken at Disney's MGM Studio's while daughter and I were in Orlando for the UCA Cheerleading Nationals.  While their squad didn't make the finals, we did manage to squeeze in a crazy amount of fun!!

My guys at their high school graduation!

Hubby's an engineer and travels the globe performing data center audits.  I'm not sure what that means, but he seems to like it!  LOL!!  He's recently started playing electric guitar, and while I think it's a good release for him, the noise factor makes the rest of us happy when he's out of town!!  Of course, with Hubby being as handsome as he is, all of that noise is forgivable!  LOL!!  This pic is of Hubby out running errands!!

Here's my real baby, out on Mom & Dad's "front lawn" at their house in the Bahamas!!
Another of my fave shots of Hubby!  This was taken in Cozumel a couple years ago.

We have two dogs and two cats.  Sweet Pea's a dachshund/beagle mix and Cocoa's a miniature, long-haired dachshund.  Cocoa's pretty much my shadow, so whenever she's not around, I assume she's up to no good!!  Her hobbies are dumping trash and chewing dirty laundry!!  LOL!!  Sweet Pea can usually be found guiltily looking on!  Domino is our oldest cat, and she's usually in stealth mode.  We got Son #2 a kitten (Foxy) for Christmas, and Domino hates Foxy.  They hiss at each other a lot, but so far, their hatred for each other hasn't gone beyond that!  This pic is of Sweet Pea.

Here's Cocoa being bad!!

Our daughter on sorority Bid Night!  She's now a Kappa Kappa Gamma!

Son #1 looking hunky on Halloween!  He and a group of friends dressed as the Village people!
